Usually a rapper that is a good technical rapper but has terrible beats, hooks and charisma

It’s your standard underground rapper

It’s definitely deserves to be a point of criticism because lyrical miracle rappers are often showing disdain for rappers that are successful
I just get a little confused becuz the coli makes it seem like a whole generation of rapper were "lyrical miracle"

It’s not the opposite of mumble rap

Mumble rap is a prevalent insult used by old heads to hate on rap they don’t like

“ lyrical miracle” is rarely used to describe a rapper

It's often used in the same way, just in a different direction.

A lot of nikkas get classified as 'mumble rappers' even when they enunciate clearly just because old nikkas don't like their style or the fact that they have run with a more abstract/less complex style of rhyme.

I see 'lyrical miracle' used to describe and categorize rappers all the time, it's just that it's not always completely appropriate to label them as such just because their approach is more focused on lyrical display.

Being lyrical =/= to being lyrical miracle. Dudes like GZA, Nas and Inspectah Deck are lyrical but their rhymes are usually very comprehensible and not just a bunch of polysyllabic words that rhyme that are put together. A lot of people are getting it confused.

I could see Keith Murray being described as this
:mjlol:

Jeru also comes to mind

I honestly feel like Keith Murray is one of those guys the term was kind of invented for, like that shyt came into existence around the time he was poppin.

And it wasn't even a diss more than it was an acknowledgement that he was doing more stream of consciousness with the word play, that was kind of his niche and is what made him dope/stand out.

I wouldn't put Jeru in that niche, even though he's complex he's not just styling and putting words together for fun. More often than not there is a chain being formed from one bar to the next if not through out the song. In the common context though nikkas would put him in that category on some clown shyt because it's more so about disparaging lyrical rappers to a lot of people who throw that term around.

I fukk with that, but I would call it 'lyrical miracle' if that's the lingo we gonna use, but not as a diss. That's just his overall style, I don't want every MC to do this and if they do, maybe sparingly, but it has it's place. Nah not for 'vibes' but something like this makes me want to write rhymes myself.

A lot of Wu tang songs are lyrical miracle songs. Remember they were dustheads and a lot of the time they didn't even know what they were saying
