What exactly is Golden State's major weakness?

Seems popular on this forum to say they'll be "exposed" but I just don't see it. What is the weakness to expose? What is it that they lack? Barring a major choke job, it would take a Spurs team clicking on all cylinders to beat a healthy Warriors squad in a 7-game series

The main complain people have had is that they lack a post up scorer and jump shooting teams don't win in the playoffs. Thing is I don't remember a jump shooting team that defended this well that can help them survive any scoring droughts. I have them as my favorites.

I never understood this one. Wouldn't call the Spurs (4 straight WCFs now) a jump-shooting team but so much of their success is predicated on hitting 3s. The 2011 Mavericks were straight up a jump-shooting team

:what:

Spurs success is their ball movement, GOATcan on the block... Yeah they hit the outside shot but they don't live and die by it, not even close with all the inside scoring they do

They need to go deep in the playoffs. Not just win their first series and get bounced in the next round. They are a good team but they need to take that next step and show that they can compete for the NBA title. They should at least make it into the WCF this year. Anything else will be a disappointment.

only weakness is bogut's health. aside from that they're by far the most complete team in the league and I think they'll at least make the finals.

The Warriors weaknesses are experience and interior play. Experience is huge, as you never see a team that has no experience late in the playoffs jump right into being champions. Gotta go through something either individually or as a group. When the game slows down and teams key on what you are doing and shots get harder to come by or just ain't droppin you gotta have that guy you can dump it down to. People always bring up the Spurs and Mavs to rebut this and it's specious. Spurs wouldn't be the Spurs without Duncan. Just because he's not putting up 25, 12, and 2 anymore doesn't mean he's not having a major impact on the interior on both ends. Dirk was giving teams the business on the block. The way that LeBron was able to have his way on the block against them doesn't bode well for them against a team with a bonafide post threat.

Memphis would be a bad matchup for them...dunno about winning a series though. Spurs obviously have the experience and I think its their conference to lose.

The way you beat GS is by winning the rebounding battle and shutting down their secondary scorers. If you limit what Klay and Draymond can do offensively, Curry isn't beating you 4 times.
