They have never won a championship before. If you haven't done it, it will never happen.

So who on that Celtics team had a Finals appearance before they won it all?

I don't think you can compare a team that had Prime KG, Prime Pierce and Prime Ray to the current Warriors. C's where not a organic team 3 top 20 players decided to team up in their primes. The current Warriors are good and they might even win the title but lets not pretend like there the greatest team ever. There have been plenty of 65+ win teams that went home early because they didn't have the experience or they ran into a team that's been there and done that.

The GS team is reminiscent of the 09 Cavs. Not a direct comparison in terms of how they are built and how they play but more so in that they breezed through the regular season without a post threat and everybody booked them for the Finals. The playoffs rolled around and "no post moves" Howard gave it to them good and deep and helped to open things up the 3pt barrage and Bron's 38, 8, 8wasn't enough.

I don't care how a team looks in the regular season, the postseason is an entire different animal.

They're terry cloth soft

:what:

Spurs success is their ball movement, GOATcan on the block... Yeah they hit the outside shot but they don't live and die by it, not even close with all the inside scoring they do
1) what is gsw being soft based on?

2) Of course they move the ball I wasn't saying they don't. But the corner 3 is a staple to their offense. They're not reliant on 3s threat of that shot spaces the floor & makes said ball movement so deadly

They all had deep runs in the playoffs, not to mention all 3 were first ballot HOF at that time already, nobody on the Warriors is a shoe in first ballot HOF yet:francis:
Deep runs in the playoffs? What was the deepest any of them have gotten before then? And you're right, no one on the team is a shoe in first ballot HOF yet, however our team is deeper than that Celtics team in regards to talent. Our Leon Powe off the bench is David Lee. Our Tony Allen is Andre Igoudala.

The Warriors weaknesses are experience and interior play. Experience is huge, as you never see a team that has no experience late in the playoffs jump right into being champions. Gotta go through something either individually or as a group. When the game slows down and teams key on what you are doing and shots get harder to come by or just ain't droppin you gotta have that guy you can dump it down to. People always bring up the Spurs and Mavs to rebut this and it's specious. Spurs wouldn't be the Spurs without Duncan. Just because he's not putting up 25, 12, and 2 anymore doesn't mean he's not having a major impact on the interior on both ends. Dirk was giving teams the business on the block. The way that LeBron was able to have his way on the block against them doesn't bode well for them against a team with a bonafide post threat.
please god make the grizz and warriors meet in the playoffs. :lol7414:

Check the cavs stats and league rankings in shyt like fg% defensive efficiency etc and see what the Warriors are doing this season and apologize immediately

I hear you. I just don't see people acknowledge we're the best defensive team in the league. That's kinda important unless you think that will go away in the playoffs. I was always told defense travels well and in our case in won't have to travel much if we have home court advantage. And you can't compare the 09 eastern conference to the 2015 western conference. Totally different animal. To dominate the western conference in 2015 is an incredible feat regardless of what happens in the playoffs.
