What exactly is Golden State's major weakness?

Disclaimer: I'm in no way guaranteeing a Dubs championship this year.

With that said, you're out of your mind. When have we seen a team that's been as good on both ends of the court as this years Warriors (Many times???!!!???)? And if the league is so watered down then why are there only 3 teams with 50+ wins so far?

Aint you that cac from SOHH? You still around b? :mjlol:

Also, being good on both ends of the floor against most teams doesn't matter in the playoffs. Playoffs is a different atmosphere, you aint padding your record or stats against low tiers like the Magic and Bulls.

Another young guy suckin off the GS team because of their record :dead:

Go study some 90's films and then come back with less ignorance :camby:

This team will get blown out in R2. Heard it here first :sas1:

Just so you youngins know, we've seen this type of team many times before. They have a good record because of the weakness of the league. This team still won't make it past R2, and for sure won't be in the finals.

Who in today's west plays like teams from the 90s?:dwillhuh:

:whew:

Thank God that we don't need to be good on both ends of the court in the playoffs! With us being just a jump shooting team that's a HUGE relief. And please don't hold our stat padding against us for this regular season. It's not our fault that we've only been allowed to play teams with records worse than us...

This is understandable. The Warriors' interior defense is effective, but part of that is because they have good perimeter defenders that disrupt all the way to the basket. Klay will often follow his man into the paint and block or deflect from behind. They don't have an interior anchor that can scare away a Lebron or Westbrook drive.

Bogut is actually great at the point of attack. The argument is beyond that. Also, Bogut can't really hedge at all, and neither can Ezeli -- but as far as somebody who can stand up to bigs AND slashers at the hoop, after bogut, the options are meh.

Bogut's lack of athleticism is a problem though. I hate watching SF's and PF's beat him for rebounds. My actual point was that BOGUT is not as effective against the elite players because he's very unathletic. It's a minor point, except the warriors will be facing those elite players in the playoffs

What does this even mean. So FG% against is based on how many whistles you get. If that's the case did San Antonio, and Those recent piston squads get favorable officiating as well?
Of course.

Certain players and teams are allowed to play "physical, hard-nosed defense" and get the benefit of the doubt so they can scratch and claw, grab arms and collide with players in the air under the guise of the nonsensical "Verticality Rule" that seems to apply whenever the refs feel like it. Most of it is based on rep.

Every Warriors game has a couple stretches where the opponent will repeatedly attack the defense, draw a lot of contact and subsequently turn the ball over. The Dubs then run down and drain open 3s on the other end while the opposing player is left on the floor, bewildered as to why the rules have suddenly changed.

Its an invaluable asset to have working in your favor every night, but again the playoffs are a whole different animal. If the Warriors run into another team w a similar defensive rep like Memphis or San Antonio, things could likely go very differently from the way they've gotten used to this season.

Roy Hibbert was the king of getting favorable calls from that rule :mjlol:

I feel you on that. Its the opposite of an offensive player, like James Harden and Russy who get favorable calls because they attack the basket so often. I don't think that will hamper the dubs in the playoffs, because the refs usually let teams play more physical ball, until it starts getting chippy.

Shaq as a center. Tim Duncan, Dirk nowitski, Chris Bosh, KG, Rasheed Wallace.

What these guys have in common is that they are championship PFs who can play Center. Guys like these are rare. Something i don't see in Golden state. If they win they'll be an exception to the rule. But because playoff basketball is a more ground out game I feel Golden state won't win it all unless the match ups are favourable and they don't go against bigs who'll expose them which might happen, and Steph and klays talent overcomes
