What's wrong with that? It's completely understandable as a kid. Team jumping as an adult is a different story though.

The problem with "casuals" is that they often don't see themselves for what they really are (CASUAL). Example. My dude arguing with me on how Wade had this proverbial "invisible switch" & that he was going to beast this entire postseason. Never mind mitigating factors of him having the worst +/- splits out of everyone on the team. Never mind the fact that the team had a winning record without him. Never mind the fact that he was said to be out for the entire year with a fractured elbow. Never mind the fact that he's 82 years old - if you even watched SOME of the Bulls games, you could see these factors manifest themselves & come to the conclusion that it ain't gonna happen. But nah, throw all of that out of the window because he had a good postseason LAST YEAR vs the Raptors & what he's done over his career in the postseason....
You see it on here too. You don't see some of these dudes for thee entire regular season, but as soon as the playoffs start, here these dudes come with their hot takes, and bold predictions (i.e. the yearly "if Bron does this & that he's the undisputed GOAT" "Such & such is the real MVP after said favorite is eliminated").

This...I'm a casual football (soccer) fan, I enjoy watching the big games and whatnot but you won't find me arguing about who is the best team or player...I just sit back and enjoy the games
IT'S ANNOYING TO PURISTS WHO PLAYED THE GAME AND KNOW ALL THE NUANCES OF BASKETBALL WHEN CASUALS JUMP IN DEBATES ACTING LIKE THEY KNOW WHAT THEY SAYIN CUZ THEY WATCH ESPN
