Just want to clarify further: the musicality I refer to in a rapper's voice is not R&B level sangin', just more melodic or harmonious that a deadpan speaking voice. Good rappers don't have to be able to sing like R Kelly, however some of the best of all time turn to full ontime singing (3K, Mos, Hill, Cee Lo). Many others sing hooks and such.

canibus did not have goat bars after the next technical skill evolution standard.
which is why he did not resonate,after his first album.
canibus is wack because he failed to advance in technical skill first.
then, failed to follow up with any technical application in the intangibles, too.
