Fincher has had a great run. Nolan and Tarantino. Speilberg fell off years ago.

2nd tier directors:
Quietly Tony Scott had a string of some dope popcorn flicks
Fuqua has that lane too.

It seems people are getting tired of Wes Anderson he has become a parody of his own style. He's talented but needs to try something different.
