Every series, we get to check our weaknesses and get better for the next round. This is the playoffs, so I don't ever expect a game to be a cakewalk, doesn't matter who's injured or not.

Pierce was pretty much their worst defender over the last two games. He was 4-16 over the last two games as well. He and Nene fukked up.
To expect Pierce to keep shooting like he was... was unreasonable. He was on a hot streak.
But yeah his defense was terrible the last couple games after being okay in the first four
Nene was one of the most efficient players in the NBA at one point and knew he had to be cause of the checkers he played with in DEN
But now he can't even lift to make layups. He's good on his feet defending pick and rolls when he's engaged but two straight postseason runs and out of the four series, he was only good in one vs CHI.... And okay vs Toronto in limited minutes.
Can't believe Masai gave him a FIVE YEAR contract in 2011 with DEN.

I like watching the Hawks play for a lot of this season. I think the Wiz defense was very effective in slowing your offense down significantly. Hawks played well on D but it was all about late game execution and tonight too many guys for the Wiz failed when it counted most.
