We're on the blood path now
For me it was Zelda OOT and Mgs2. Man I started reading about Zelda 64 in a 96 issue of EGM. I was about 12 (6th grade) when the rumors of it being developed came out, and 14 when it finally dropped. I swear that game took forever to come out. I'd think about that game every day walking home from the bus, depressed as fukk that it hadn't dropped. Then, when it did drop in 98, I couldn't even play it until mom's got it for me in Xmas (I think it released that October, so that's 2 months of spoiled nikkas getting it to play it for me). When Xmas came, I unwrapped the xmas gifts fast as fukk, looking for it. Couldn't find it at first, but it turns out my mom put it in a clothes box to fool me
. She had bought the golden cartridge and the limited edition strategy guide
both of which I still own
With Mgs2, I wasn't as depressed about not having it, but I still was just as hype. I bought mgs 2 and final fantasy 10 that same winter when they both dropped. Needless to say, I was eating good that winter
