well i'll say its the closest thing to being as good as a movie though...I dont expect it to top a movie when most of the focus is on gameplay while movies all you have is story and cinematics.

As I said its a great story for a game.
I just don't think the story is good enough to trump the better gameplay of tomb raider.
Like I don't like being one of those "VIDEO GAENS R ART" nerds, but fukk.Winter was.
Didn't even feel like a video game.
That chapter, by itself, could be removed from the game completely and it'd still be the GOTG. shyt was like its own story within the story.

The citizen Kane of gaming was a running joke that i saw online.It makes more sense to compare uncharted 2 and tom raider then it is to compare TLOU and tomb raider......IMO
I don't think anybody is saying it's better or is as good as citizen kane though. It was pretty obvious when @Fatboi1 said it he was calling it the citizen kane of gaming i.e a masterpiece, which is a stretch, but

I have to say having just beat tlous it is definitely a better game but my personal preference might go to tomb raider...
only because i fukking hate dystopian stories in general... and while i can admit last of us is the best one for me of all time...
i loved the fact that in tomb raider.. lara goes from being scared and kinda unable to protect herself... to being a fukking G at the end... and straight up saying im gonna make these cacs pay for what they did to the homies...
the growth just waas much more fulfilling...
whoever said the tombraider story was bad is dumb too

I did. The character development was horrible and made me not care about anything going on. I just couldn't find an ounce of caring for anyone in the game. Heck, when that old guy died it was almost as if i was being trolled. Why would I care about someone barely knew? I thought that part of the game was handled terribly and it's the main reason why I can't take it seriously despite it having serviceable gameplay. I tried playing the game over and i just end up tweaking the gfx instead of playing.
