What games are you picking up/playing in April 2023?

I bought and just about platinum sifu on Playstation it was in my running for GOTY.


I pretty much played it every week day for a month. The only reason I stopped was because Triangle strategy dropped the start of march and I was locked in.


I'm debating if I want to buy it again to support the game because I want to see another one, but I don't want to buy it just to sit on it when I can get it later.

Meanwhile Gizzy has a switch that he can play a HD 2D game on that will run and display just fine even on the "switch hardware" but now that it's on Playstation its calling him for a purchase

Also, once again, Triangle Strategy runs like shyt on the switch, its has an ugly and blurry resolution and long ass load times. Why would i buy another HD 2D game on that piece of shyt?

Why wouldn’t i rather wait and play a game on better performing hardware? You sound dumb

Yeah I thought I was going to be fine getting Octopath 2 on switch until I tried the demo. Blurry and sub 30 fps vs 120 fps 1440p on my pc. Switch is at the point where even these 2D games are struggling.

Yeah, its like asking why i wouldn’t I want to play a game on ps3. No reason these games should be running at sub 30fps and such low resolution.

Switch users love misery. nikkas be getting hype to play bullshyt versions of complex games. YES!! I can finally play True Crimes Streets of Bangok at ~25fps/Dynamic 500P.

To you. Playing a sprite based game at 720p, and unstable 30fps with really bad frame drops and terrible load times is enough for me to not bother with it. If a 3rd party game isn’t ported i just won’t bother with it, its not about waiting, same deal with SMTV.

Theres nothing to “own” 3rd party games all play better on anything but a switch. Theres a reason so many people here emulate switch games, the hardware is just flat out bad
