It's all the same to me, but I use Costco exclusively cuz it counts towards my membership rebate. That said my car says it recommends 91, but multiple dealerships told me 87 was actually fine for it. I haven't had any trouble with regular either.

Mid grade but when I have to get gas at a shytty gas station I get premium. I deliver gas for a living so I mainly stick to chevron and shell. Not the mom and pops ones either. A store wanted gas so bad he wanted me to pick up Valero gas from a terminal and bring it to his chevron store. Shady as fukk

Y'all need to understand how octane ratings work. With higher compression engines...aka stratified injection, sport/lux engines with 9.5:1 or higher (esp turbos) you can damage your rings and possibly blow a gasket + build up all kinds of carbon and gunk.

Your fukking manual and gas cap isn't a lie.

The car company doesn't win a prize by telling you to spend money on 93 RON.

Keep pinging brehs.

Look at your cap sticker and don't fukk up your car. If it says 91. Use 91. Unless you don't care about pinging, fukked up catalytic converters and sludge.

It says recommended. But two separate dealerships told me regular is fine. Haven had any issues in 9 months so far.

Last car required premium, so that's what I used.

Breh...your compression ratio is 11.5:1...

That's high. You need an octane that fits. At least throw some octane booster in there at each fill up.

Yeah, it's going to run, but run like shyt and shorten the life of your engine.

The reason why high compression race cars use race gas 100+ octane is for a more complete burn through the octane chain and the ability to stay cooler with high compression and prolong the life of the valvetrain.

Please do a little more research on the effect of 87 octane on a compression ratio of 11.5:1.
