-The Dark Knight (greatest superhero movie and I don’t want to hear shyt about it)

-Paranormal Activity (when the book flipped open and different deities that are actually mentioned/worshiped by ppl in the occult were shown— my boyfriend laughed and I closed my eyes for the remainder of the film. I did NOT rock with that shyt at all)

-Black Panther (absolutely magnificent and majestic. Disney/Marvel understood the vision. Proper representation matters. RIP Chadwick Boseman; you fulfilled your purpose).

-Infinity War

-Endgame
(Nothing, nothing will top these films. The zenith of the MCU. I can’t even find the words ).

I told this in film room before but Mortal Kombat in 1995. Never been to a movie theater so hyped before that point. People were just losing their shyt almost the entire movie and when Liu Kang did the bicycle kick on Reptile the theater practically exploded. I loved every minute of it.

Endgame is a close second tho. You already know nikkas lost it when Cap grabbed that hammer.

When ATL dropped my theater was packed and ghetto af. It was a good time tho everybody was having fun.

1. Jurassic Park opening weekend. My parents surprised me and took me to see it when I was a dinosaur obsessed 6 year old after they said there was no way they'd let me see a PG-13 rated movie. I remember there was only one other kid in my grade who was allowed to see it when it came out and we used to call each other on our landlines and talk about the movie
















2. Mandy/Hereditary within a 3 month span of their release. Saw Hereditary in a deep red county with a bunch of presumed bible thumpers who were absolutely HEATED by the end of the movie. It made the viewing that much better for me

3. Dune 2 because it was just an incredible movie theatre movie

4. Avengers End Game because you know

I got half a handjob as a freshman during a shytty romance movie with Robert Patterson where he randomly died when the trade towers went down at the end. That was pretty memorable.

2. Paranormal Activity, random scenes in Paranormal Activity 1.

I wish I was alive to watch horror movies when they came out in the 70s/80s
