he ends up having to "find god" on some weirdo shyt.

like...dude seems unstable to me.
:ohhh: Have you ever considered..........

That maybe your concern and narrow-mind about these subjects is whats "weird"? It's not like atheism would make him a better developer.

he seems impulsive and short-sighted...but whatever.

Cape for the young man if you wish.
At the very least we can defend our black young men who are doing something with their lives.... shyt we fell the need to defend the ones who aren't doing shyt with their lives when something tragic or racist happens to them :mjpls:(( i didn't wanna say that, but it's real) - Sometimes a nikka coulda been in the house studying and that unfortunate shyt might not have happened.))

... even while This guy was taking the L's and 'failing' at life the nikka had a seat at apple.... That's this nikka's Bottom.... That's where he falls when he makes poor choices..... so I'm not capping, I just know that he will get older and wiser.

Allah will guide him to making apps that atheist will download in mass:troll:

Well....The fact that he turned down Harvard at 16 is not a shock at all too me.......He was very young and was going to be immersed in a strange environment with no support more than likely....He just went where he felt the most comfortable........:manny:

He didn't shyt on anyone though....... have you been paying attention to America..... him working hard and getting into the top Ivy L school is a tribute to his ancestors .... He could be knocking nikkas out on Worldstar, or barely getting into CC...... he studied and worked hard - and him being able to make his own choices is also what they fought for.

He started a degree program...... he will finish, the nikka is 20 years old, not 35... he can finish with ease but if he wants to do some other shyt in the mean time who cares. I have cousins younger than me who finished masters programs before i ever entered one.... i traveled to world n did some shyt first...... fukk what the MEN around you have to say----- yolo and you have to be your own MAN

You aren't taking into consideration the fact that people get sidetracked. Lets say he finishes seminary or whatever. Starts having a small congregation, gets caught up in that, never goes back because he's tending his flock. Dude could have more than just a church of 35 members. Through his other endeavors he could help multitudes more. Spiritual assistance is cool, but the streets need more than just more pastors. It needs people who have wealth and have access. Pastors do NOT have access, through the other stuff he could help exponentially more people in conjunction with his spirituality.

Religious or not, only a fool would think other wise.

he said he's going back.... if he doesn't ... he could become a millionaire pastor....... or join one of the religious organizations that do charity work and help in that way...

but he's not though because he said that he's refocused and would have finished but his school didn't relieve his debt. He hit rock bottom (aka corporate interest, college options, and a teaching career)...... and now he can bounce back.

Well he's on the clock and I think his lack of guidance will hurt him in the long run...

False.

Ya'll gotta drop this "don't need college" shyt.

You ain't going to pick up some of the technical aspect of what it takes to do some jobs without a formal education.

I don't think he's wrong in that post.
The kid already had a career before ever picking up a degree.
Yes, his earning potential would go up, but that wouldn't change the skillset he'd
already acquired and was in the middle of making money from.

Those were INTERNSHIPS

READ THE fukkING ARTICLE.
Article said:
During his studies at Bethel, Jones started working at Apple in the iOS division. He wanted to graduate and pursue his studies freely with no debt—it was part of the reason, after all, why he attended FAMU which gave him a full ride, instead of Harvard, which only gave him a partial scholarship.

However, while working at Apple and getting paid well for what he had to offer, Jones' team leader pointed out to him that completing his degree would get him almost twice his paycheck as an iOS software engineer.
:comeon:
I read the article, it clearly wasn't just an internship.
I think by that point, it'd become a job, at which he stopped working
to pursue a degree so he could be paid better.
