False.

Ya'll gotta drop this "don't need college" shyt.

You ain't going to pick up some of the technical aspect of what it takes to do some jobs without a formal education.
So we aren't going to give him any credit at all?????????

He can't just be intelligent and have the ability to figure things out without some CAC institutions and CAC seal of approvals?

I know that everyone can't do it...... but he had an actual JOB based on his ability and branding -as opposed to a degree from a university. nikka had a seat at one of the top corps.

i own two businesses..... neither are technical, neither are what i went to school for. NTM I've always done my own research.... CAC at universities (at least top ones) don't really even teach shyt........ they teach you how to get the info and research. And everyone researched to fit their agenda. Dumb people don't research and smart people research their angle.

You can get that knowledge without them and their cac spin on everything. i only showed up to class for labs and test and did great. My degrees have only helped me as far as credibility is concerned because people are brainwashed like you are -
Believing that these cac instutions hold the keys to some secret knowledge about being prepared for life.

I did not realize that FAMU and FSU shared the same engineering program. Some are trying to break it into two programs with different buildings.

TALLAHASSEE — A behind-the-scenes effort to divide an engineering program shared by Florida State University and Florida A&M University is igniting a lingering debate about racial inequality and how state resources are allocated in higher education.

State Sen. Joe Negron says the plan will allow the universities' "good" joint College of Engineering to morph into "great" individual programs. FAMU would keep the existing building on a remote part of FSU's campus and current state funding; FSU would get $13 million to begin the multi-year process of creating a new program in a new building.

"The important thing for FAMU is there is no reduction whatsoever for the College of Engineering at FAMU, they will continue to be funded at the current level," Negron, R-Stuart, said.

According to the Board of Governors, FAMU had 369 engineering students in undergraduate and graduate programs in 2013 and FSU had 2,142.

I wonder what kind of scholarship he got to Harvard.

Technically speaking, Harvard does not offer scholarships. It is financial aid. They expect you to work part-time throughout the year. I used Harvard's calculator. If Ralph's family made $50,000, he would have to earn $4,600 a year, otherwise tuition, room, board, books, and travel are accounted for.

Eligibility for aid
Our generous financial aid program—bolstered by the Harvard Financial Aid Initiative, which seeks to increase low- and middle-income students’ awareness of Harvard’s affordability—aims to make Harvard accessible to any student who is admitted.
  • 20% of our parents have total incomes less than $65,000 and are not expected to contribute.
  • Families with incomes between $65,000 and $150,000 will contribute from 0-10% of their income, and those with incomes above $150,000 will be asked to pay proportionately more than 10%, based on their individual circumstances. Families at all income levels who have significant assets will continue to pay more than those in less fortunate circumstances.
  • Home equity and retirement assets are not considered in our assessment of financial need.
Use our Net Price Calculator to quickly estimate your aid package and expected family contribution.

I'll be honest, the only thing I've observed which has stopped future hires is someone not knowing the right people. If someone wants you, they will seek you out; and if they want you badly enough, they will bend alleged rules for you. If, however, they don't really want you, you can have all your ducks in a line and they'll find a bullshyt reason to tell you to kick rocks so that they can hire somebody else who knows more people than you.

Have a good reason for your lapse, then keep it moving. This isn't a felony rap for armed robbery, it's just a gap. Always show improvement, always improve yourself. NEVER assume that any situation in your life is the end of the world, or that doors are permanently closed to you.
