What Happened the night of the Diddy and Shyne club shooting?

now that im older trying to research and understand what happened that faithful night in Manhattan.

diddy, jlo, shyne and mixed company get in an altercation at club
Diddy allegedly had the strap
Diddy allegedly shoots
Shyne allegedly had a strap or took the strap from diddy
Shyne allegedly shoots
3 bystanders get hit
a girl gets shot in the face
diddy runs from the club in the navigator
police chase, poice stop car, police find one gun in the navigator
-everyone gets arrested and goes to jail
-everyone turns on shyne and he eats the charge
diddy, jlo and everyone else found not guilty
Judge wont let shyne make money off his music in jail
shyne doesn 10 years, gets deported after release


Can we get a retelling of the actual events?

I just can't picture Diddy having any hammer on him other than suddenly, randomly signing MC Hammer.

The story is that Diddy and his entourage walked in, there was some jealous brehs in the club and one of them threw actual money in Diddy's face and said something like "You think you the only n***** with money?" and some other insults.

Things got tense.

Shyne started shooting.

How the club was not sued for allowing guns to come in, is beyond me. But clearly the most "black" person paid the highest price.

NYPD hates young black men getting money so much that they ignore the other shooters and try to turn Puff and shyne into the villains. Even though they have witnesses telling them exactly what happened,they start the charges at when shyne started shooting back and ignore the bullets that came out of the guns that puff had in the truck.

The “street dudes” name was Matthew “Scar” Allen, he was murdered outside Brooklyn, New York’s Footprints nightclub, Sunday December 4, 2011.

I followed this in 9th grade, everyday, on Courttv, I went to a brand new school by luck, and we had computer lab, this was all I used it for, basically.

Shyne, Puff, J-Lo, Anhony Wolf Jones go out to celebrate the New Year at Club NY in Manhattan, I believe Shyne and Puff at least were using cocaine, evidence of residue was found in the navigator, but suppressed at trial. The evidence suggests all three men were carrying guns when they entered Club New York.

Matthew Scar Allen, a Brooklyn drug dealer, and his entourage get into a verbal altercation with Puff at the bar, or in the bar area, involving champagne, and money being thrown in the air, plus in someone's face. Scar allegedly threw money in Puff's face, and at least 3 different individuals pull guns, and fire. Bullets from three different guns were found inside, and in the ceiling of Club BY. Shyne pulled out a 9mm pistols and fired into the air, the ricochet hits a young woman in the face. Puff also likely pulled a gun, as did Wolf.

Shyne left the club immediately, and was arrested outside, with the gun in his waitsband, still hot. Puff, Wolf, J Lo and the driver, leave the scene, throwing at least one pistol out of the Lincoln Navigator, and police recovering another one from the stash box in the Navigator. While in custody, Puff attempts to bribe his driver with a pinky ring to take the gun charge.

That truly was the last of an era in the game, it was just a ill time in the music/streets, the lines were getting blurrier and blurrier. Shyne was my favorite rapper at the time.
