Weirdly, reparations expectation were built up during the Trump administration.

Research the amount of reparations threads and posts online during the eight years of the "first black president." They were minimal in comparison to the Trump era/error.

It would have made sense to pressure Obama and his ADOS wife with reparations.

A lot of people think that reparations can be made with Trump in the WH :mjlol: . The same Trump that is trying to erase slavery from history textbooks. Without slavery in those books, the whole repararions issue disappears.

Man, them folks wasn't serious. They could have been spending the last year building up and drafting candidates to run for Congress who support reparations.

But that would require actual work.

It's more profitable to grift and pretend you care about reparations when you really don't, like folks such as Tariq and Yvette do.

Has Tariq even mentioned reparations since the election ended?

I don't think Tariq or Yvette have.

And for that matter, neither has Cube.

I know folks ain't gonna wear it, but none of them are serious. If they were serious, the way to reparations is through the Congress. Congress controls the money of the United States of America.

A simple google search will reveal that to you.

But none of them have drafted a candidate, publicly threw their support behind a serious candidate who is running on the platform of reparations or anything like that.

Why?

Because it's all a grift. I don't know how much clearer it has to be for folks to understand this.

Seems like it’s lost steam. Any given day there was a thread in TLR about reparations that did numbers. I don’t really see them anymore. What happened? Is that not the main focus anymore?
Conservative cointelpro c00ns working for the US government came and muddied the conversation.

Prime examples:
-Pro Republican shuckers who only exist to reinforce the political binary.

-"We the true Native Americans" agents who were required to read 'They Came Before Columbus' as part of their disinformation materials

-"Cash only" agents seeking to move the chess pieces into position if things get too serious

-Grifters latching onto one trending topic after another

Don't know about Tariq - but Yvette has.

But, remember --- the movement doesn't have a leader -- many are doing things locally and working together to get things popping in their hometowns and in the areas were their ancestors were enslaved.

No grift. Why would redress be a grift?
