In addition to what everyone else has said, he was the 2nd dude mentioned on Kendricks Control verse too. When the dude on top of the rap game ATM sees you as competition you are doing something right...

i think krit is more versatile than cole. they both can make them "boring raps" but i cant picture cole making something like

I'm a huge KRIT fan but his last 3 projects haven't lived up to his potential he showed with the first 2. He has a album coming out and I'm thinking it'll be his best one yet due to the fact he's working with different producers. The main problem people have with his newer shyt is that it's starting to run together, that should change since he's stepping out from behind the boards and can focus more on being a emcee and bringin different ideas and sounds to the table.

He also needs to step away from the slow drawn out preachy tracks..we need more pimpin/ridin/ugk type shyt, when he channels his inner Nappy Roots I can't really fukk with him.

If there is anything slowing his mainstream success it's the pimpin shyt. Half his concious shyt he talking bout hoes and fukking. That ain't really gonna help him expand his fan base

Who cares about mainstream success? He could have a Nipsey Hussle type lane where he eats good and is comfortable making the music he wants to. Last thing I wanna hear KRIT do is switch his style to to gain white female fans.

this is what's wrong with rap.. people would rather have him release garbage every few months than take his time and put out quality..

oversaturation is worse.. word to papoose and charles hamilton..
