ever since he hit puberty after 8 mile his voice changed and aint been the same again

these aint the kinda things you could change back

Nah he can still rap like it was 2002 but for some reason he refuses to. I havent heard Em on a Dre production or his own spitting like he is now. Once that does happen he is officially done to me. But these track were recorded in 2009, so its not like he can't go back to it.

Em ain't been the same since MMLP.

I see people talking up shyt like TES and 8 Mile but that was the beginning of the end. He started to sacrifice lyrics for flow around that time and start rapping real mechanically.

His early stuff he sounds so fluid and human. His music losts it's life after MMLP.

His pen work on TES and 8 Mile was on point. Def elite material. I think its crazy to say he sacrifice his lyrics when TES and Relapse had quotable and dope rhyme schemes.

took the critisism on relapse too seriosuly now he plays it safe on every song... uses the same trash flow on every song, speeds up his flow and screams on every song to mask his lack of content.... few songs on bad meets evil he killed tho

I want this em back :to:

:stopitslime:

Em just lost his nasally vocals.

Kanye and Wayne have never been able to put their trail and tribulations on wax like Em did on the Eminem Show. Its laughable to knock on Ems content when TES is one of hip hops best testimonial albums. But lets turn a blind eye to that.

As far as the thread goes. Em took the criticism of his accent on Relapse to heart and completely abandoned his complicated rhyme scheme style. A style in which he was able to approach tracks effortlessly with different flows. Its a shame because a lot of people jumped on the Recovery bandwagon and didn't rightfully shyt on his performance on that album so now he thinks this new wack punchline screaming flow style is acceptable...smh

RIP EMINEM 1999-2009
Em has been doing that since his first LP.

why would he keep the same flow his entire career

when you keep the same flow forever.. you fade into obsucirty

word to NAS.. LIG 300k

Shows you never really listened to Nas in depth :lolbron:

90s Nas was a more lyrical style, more use of multis, more syllables in each verse, orthodox flow
Stillmatic 2001- Untitled 2008 had a more laid back flow, using less multis, a slower more of a direct approach
2010 Distant Relatives- Present is a still him with a slower flow, but more aggressive like in his younger days
