i thought everyone would get the name change miranda and caliban being linked of course, but i guess not
.....u gotta announce stuff like that....
Await the day she returns as Miranda. She was always nice to me for some reason, and her current name reminds me of
kinda true miranda, the new name is pretty masculine....just saying 
I knew it was you. I thought it was a play on, Taliban
but now that I think about it, that makes no sense

Caliban (/ˈkælᵻbæn/kal-ə-ban) is one of the main antagonists in William Shakespeare's play The Tempest. He is the subhuman son of the malevolent witch, Sycorax.
After his island becomes occupied by Prospero and his daughter Miranda
, Caliban is forced into servitude. While he is referred to as a calvaluna or mooncalf, a freckled monster, he is the only human inhabitant of the island that is otherwise "not honour'd with a human shape" (Prospero, I.2.283). In some traditions he is depicted as: a wild man, or a deformed man, or a beast man, or sometimes a mix of fish and man. Caliban is a Cambion, the half-human son of Sycorax by (according to Prospero, though this is not confirmed) a devil. Banished from Algiers, Sycorax was left on the isle, pregnant with Caliban, and died before Prospero's arrival. Caliban, despite his inhuman nature, clearly loved and worshipped his mother 
, and refers to Setebos as his mother's god. Prospero explains his harsh treatment of Caliban by claiming that after initially befriending him, Caliban attempted to rape Miranda . Caliban confirms this gleefully, saying that if he had not been stopped he would have peopled the island with a race of Calibans—"Thou didst prevent me, I had peopled else this isle with Calibans" 
(Act I:ii). Prospero then entraps Caliban and torments him with harmful magic if Caliban does not obey his orders. Resentful of Prospero, Caliban takes Stephano, one of the shipwrecked servants, as a god and as his new master

yeah i fukked with him at first because he was coming up through the struggle....its not his fault he was born half fish half man...thats fukked (wait did he even have a dikk? hopefully the fish part was his upper body) up but thats no excuse to rape the Prosperod daughter...i know he dont wanna bow down to Prospero but that still dont give him a good excuse to rape the chick....lol but she was probably is bad, and u know he wasn't getting no ass on that island but still...rape is a horrible crime
BUt hes a sucka for becoming stephano servant, and he got finessed ....because stephano wasnt even a god ....lol stephano had dude doing the laundry and folding his clothes and he was just a human the whole time....then cailban dumbass figure it out and became Prospero bytch anyway
if he was really about it...he should've just fought Prospero and died an honorable death....

but not this one 
my namesake miranda is actually from the movie/tv show Serenity/Firefly. Caliban is a moon that orbits the planet Miranda deep in the burnham quadrant past reaver space. but of course the names come from the Tempest, and I got an A on my visual and oral presentation on that play in 9th grade.
