Despite all these Oregon fans saying that this year's team was different from last year, that they're larger in the trenches, they can run it up the middle and grind out wins, last night showed that that was all just talk.

That's what happened.

Everything about Oregon is misleading, their offense is like a mirage. They'll put up 60-70 on scrub teams by going for it on 4th when every other team takes the FG, and go for two every time they get a touchdown to inflate their score differential and boost their worth in the eyes of pollsters, but that petty bullshyt doesn't fly against teams with NFL size and quality talent. Thats when their offense disappears.

like i said last night they got too many lil booty nikkas (no homo) they get pushed around. Stanford ran the same power right play over and over and they just pushed em out the way.

I'm no Oregon fan but they scored 20 points when they only had 17 mins TOP. They got the ball rammed down their throats, 270 yards on the ground basically just going student body left/right all game. They've gotta fix the front 7 on D.

Most of the time, the team that wins in the trenches is the team that wins the game. Every once in a while a team can let another come back and beat them, like what could have happened last night. But most of the time the team that manhandles another on the line of scrimmage wins the game, because it's demoralizing for the other team. When your big guys are getting manhandled, and can't get any push, they stop giving as much effort. When your big guys aren't giving as much effort, you're in trouble.
