same thing happens to and artists nearing the end of their contracts. the music biz doesn't want the artists to leave on a high horse so they try to break them down and demonize them etc.. so that when their contracts are up they're not hot artists anymore and run to another label or set themselves up to be independent.

the slave master doesn't want his slave to be independent cause that will be bad precedence for the other slaves. they did the same thing to lil jon, dave chappelle..

he fell off like 5 years ago...

rappers come and go. especially when the cornerstone of their music is a fad/gimmick

IMO 02-06 was worse.
what?? you're tripping man. 02-04 was some classic shyt.. 2005 was when rap started to fall off.
someone posted a stream of all the #1 singles from the 90s up until like 2010... listen to that & you'll see what I mean.

starting in like 2003, you've got Stand Up (by ludacris), Overnight Celebrity, The Way You Move, Hey Ya, & then Yeah by Usher

commercial hip hop was sooo dope back in the day

future isn't in the same category as t-pain pain actually has talent

T-pain aint talented. Lol

He lived and died by the autotune and everybody uses It now. T-Pain was never Luther Vandross when it comes to vocals and could never could write like Anthony Hamilton so there is no reason for his fans to stick around:yeshrug:

:what:

his writing and producing is what was bringing in the money for him. He can't sing, but he can write and arrange a hit

T-Pain still drops good music, but nowadays he does much more rapping, so it's coming full circle for him since that's how he came up. He's probably just chillin and making money every time an arena plays All I Do Is Win
