They def fit a certain demographic nowadays.
Their interviews with older more established entertainers are still decent, but I think when they get younger artist they ask the same boring questions every time…
There’s more and better YouTube platforms and podcasts these days that give better interviews.

They’re also irrelevant to the new generation of entertainers.

Durk or Gunna don’t need them to promote an album which was totally different in the 10s where artist had to go up there to get some publicity

This hurt there biggest driver which was interviews.

ATL paid.. Cali blazed
Breakfast club fell off in 2013 in terms of the actual show and not being good for clips from interviews.
Folks got wayyy to politicized and agenda driven somewhere around the middle of that year
U crazy as hell that's when they were at their height..They fell off once CTG took Gucci side over Angela during that interview...they haven't been the same since

Yee is in her 50's or close to it, CTG and Envy are in their 40's.

Even Joe has toned his shyt WAY down in the pod space.

Folks are grown now.

If you want celebrity f*ckery and chaos you got Akademiks and Adam 22. Wack 100 is trying to gain traction in the f*ckery lane as well.

I'm sorry, but ain't nothing touching their 2012 year for me. I'm talking about the actual show. Not the interviews.

Like that episode when hurricane sandy hit them and they did an impromptu show drunk as a skunk :mjlol:

Facts. They used to do those post-show streams on their website, drunk as hell. 2012 was easily their best year.

Because they’ve gone PC and super positive. They making a lot of money and they have relationships to protect.

being Flagrant moves the needle. PC? Not so much :yeshrug:
Yea CTG’s fake mental health guru act, his forced power of positivity and them basically acting like they are so grown and mature now because they have kids is not entertaining to me. I came there for fukkery and CTG honest hot takes. He done had so many almost canceled moments now he is playing it safe. On one hand I don’t blame him but on the other, it’s not what I want from him.

They are also pushing these bullshyt narratives that feminist and woke Twitter are trying to get off. They are trying to ride all the social media movements at the same time instead of speaking their true opinions about the bs. They lost me sometime during the pandemic with all the zoom shows.

His act didnt get played. He switched his act.

im still :russ: at Andrew Shulz having a moment of truth on the pod, telling Charlamagne he always assumed he was gay… :dead:
When did this happen?

They didn’t fall off, the interview is apart of the show so you can’t separate them. You confuse fell off with 2013 was your favorite year. They were at their height of popularity 2015-2018.

My girl listens to the podcast version of the show, nowadays they have a few good interviews but they lost their magic, theses people are almost 50 having the most immature conversations :scust:
