What happened to the men who attend/graduated from HBCUs?

LMAO @ the panicky tone to that quote, what the hell did you expect would happen? This is the matriarchal setup you wanted, nicht wahr? You got led by the feminist nose into the most obvious corral and now you're surprised you've been branded for selective breeding? Isn't this what your fabled intelligentsia has been pushing for over a century? So what's the problem? Earning less? Why did you think all those loans were suddenly shoveled at you for academia? Because you earned/deserved it? They knew they could use your vanity to have you turn against your own men, turn away from your families, extol all the "virtues" of single-mother-who-don't-need-no-whatever...and pay you less all the while. They knew. What did you expect? You're coming out of academic pipelines they designed to funnel you into their corporations, into their industries, and you'd come out on top? On top of what, exactly? Pride? Good luck dining on that particular delicacy.
Is this a response to my quote?? Because if so, I'm not sure how you got all this from my post.

Let's look at your chart.
Sure, man

($100k+) Despite having less degrees there's more black men making over $100k than black women
Yep. Over 10 thousand black men make more money in the 100k bracket

($50k-$100k) Despite have less degrees, black men are just marginally behind in the $50k-$100k area. The margin is so small its not even worth mentioning
So black men being ahead in the 100k bracket by 10 thousand people is them being ahead, but black women being ahead in the 50-100k bracket by over 300 thousand is just “so small it’s not even worth mentioning”

Well, that’s interesting

What did your chart did prove exactly? If a group is marginally doing better its not even worth mentioning, especially the unemployed and $20k-$50k groups
It shows they’re ahead and other outlets have projected that the trend will continue unless there’s a change amongst younger men. Do you feel threatened by this information?

If by "level" you mean college degree, then that's a statistical fact. The income myth is obviously false, and it doesn't matter anyway because it's not and shouldn't be a competition. Y'all should be competing with other men and we should be competing with other women.

Where did I say college degree? That’s a silly way to determine one’s level in life.

Well, that’s interesting

Black women are ahead by only 12k or so in the 50-100k group, That is relatively small. The 300k gap is in the 20-50k group which is struggling all around.

Not sure who is looking to get married in college....I went to a PWI for UG and an Ivy for grad and I NEVER looked for a woman for marriage there.

The idea of meeting a wife/husband in college seems so 1950s...imo no one should be getting married until you're about 30...anything much earlier than that and you're setting yourself up
Pretty much every other group does or at least attempts to find that person around that age bracket except us.

Shoutout to my HBCU brehs. I’m an A&T grad.

All my engineering brehs doing well. We all working, and we all got high paying jobs. Some got married, but those that got married locked their woman down at T. I did too. It just didn’t work out lol.

As intended. The characters prancing about the social media stage are lying. Those stories never add up.

- Social media noise accounts for maybe 15-20% (being very generous here) of the actual population. Most regular everyday people don't have time to be on social media, they have things to do. As it's designed, social media skews toward younger people and people with office gigs with tons of "free" time for browsing/posting. ("Free" in the sense that there's lots of choice involved in how you use your time. Most everyday people don't have any such choice, they have things to do. Whether you're wasting that "free" time is on you.) So by default you're dealing with a segment of a segment of the population to begin with. Noise doesn't mean numbers. Adjust your lenses and filters accordingly.

Oh, a note here to the sisters who have wisdom and see past all the rubbish: for those who don't have money as their guiding star, who look to personal/family compatibility and loyalty first, who make 120k but have no ego problem marrying brothers who make less...understand that your strength of character will be assailed every second of every hour of every day. ESPECIALLY by the LMNOP crowd who quietly hate everything about you, your actual femininity that they try so desperately to emulate and fail, your family that you can produce naturally as life dictates when all they have is loneliness and drama-prone "entertainment". They hate what they cannot possibly have, so they will always try to make you feel a way and chisel away at your self-esteem. Don't fall for it. Let the clowns say what they will, you are admired and cherished and loved and always will be. Their confusion has nothing to do with you.

Unceasing psyops.

I've heard both sides to this time and time again some men swear it's a myth, and other women swear that they don't...but I don't care what anyone says, they can deny it all day...i've seen it with my own eyes in UG.

back in the early 2000s, I use to literally see BW on our college campus bring "thugs" off the street and onto campus into their rooms and into campus parties, while the college brothas were single...they avoided the college campus brehs like the plague in a lot of situations

This is true for some of the gripes. It ironically died down when Kanye blew up and made all kinds of black folk feel comfortable attending college campuses

Every finance firm that we work with is Morgan State, NC A&T, Virginia State, Howard graduates,

T. Rowe Price is basically a jump off point for HBCU finance majors in Maryland.

Goldman Sachs hires analysts from HBCUs. Tech hbcu degrees will get you in the door of most govt agencies, contractors and firms in the DMV area. BigLaw and SV/SF tech startups/emerging tech markets have a major diversity problem still but that’s not true representation of hbcu grads anyway. Really I think a lot of these threads are created with ill intent to keep spreading their message of defeatism. Check any 2019-2022 hbcu graduating class roster and there’s a lot of black men on that list. 70% of the black men who regularly post in The Coliseum, the law school thread and TLR are hbcu graduates in various fields - you can tell who is who on here by observation; don’t let those dumb LSA wenches and c00n adversarial autobots conspiring with their white cohorts tell it bc they look for sensationalist negative rhetoric to compu-brag about with their cac branded comparisons. Get that graduation paper and then get your PAPER. Shaming people bc they want to go to school. Not everyone aspires to be in hvac repair, plumber or trucker.
:deadrose:
Nothing wrong with those but the way people promote this trade shyt like black men aren’t trying abd working to do better is annoying and blatant gender baiting asf.

I'm a heavy advocate on free college to PhD levels for black folks. The price gouging on college tuition is literal theft. I respecr skilled blue collar workers, but the thought of (black) men not being suited to work in an office with a college education just seems wrong on so many levels
