All that money and not throwing 4 TDs a game gonna get you punched in the face by one of your linebackers.

He would already be on his 2nd team without that contract.
Which has nothing to do with his race and everything to do with Jacksonville not having a QB with his upside in 20 years if ever.

Mac Jones is in the Phantom Zone behind him.

Zac Wilson is holding a clipboard behind a rookie.

Sam Darnold is being "fixed" years after being put in the Phantom Zone, and he arguably only has this chance because the drafted QB is injured.

Baker Mayfield in Cleveland was Trevor's equal and didn't get a contact and was also tossed aside till Tampa kicked the tires on Brady's replacement.

Jared Goff was sent to what formerly was football Siberia after a Super Bowl appearance because he wasn't a gamebreaker.

Carson Wentz's last full season was 3500 yards and a 27/7 TD/INT count just 2 years ago and he's holding a clipboard.

Nick Foles won a Super Bowl replacing him and where is he?

And this is on top of half the starting QBs in the league being black and one of them having a historically bad season while Cleveland pretends they're competitive to warrant the contract he's enjoying. Oh and a black QB is appearing to run away with a B2B MVP.

This narrative that we don't get chances while white QBs keep failing up is outdated.

I'll change my mind when they have him playing a different position. There has been a longstanding history of judging black QBs differently than white QBs. Before you continue playing dumb, here are some examples:

Those articles are over the last 3 years..one from this year. What are you talking about?

Since you want to play dumb, let me help you.

  • Mac Jones was a #15 pick and still went too high. He got enough chances to prove he was a bad pick.
  • Carson Wentz also had more than enough chances. He's not good.
  • Zac Wilson was worse than Tray Lance and still holds a backup spot, while Lance is 3rd string with 3-4 starts and better numbers. Tray may not be in the league next year. Proves my point.
  • Baker got many chances and landed on a good team and got it together. You will never see teams invest in a black player like that now on his 4th team.
  • Carnold...same thing, gets yet another chance and is finally playing to his potential. no black QB is getting that many opportunities.

Why is Goff in this discussion?

You still think white and black QBs are judged and treated equally is laughable.

Nobody is playing dumb. None of these examples dispute what I said.

I already told you why Goff is in the discussion.

Notice you skip over the list of teams while black Starters. The fact you think they aren't in 2024 is laughable.
