What happened to Umar?

Let's say he had enough money to build the structure ,who is going to pay the bills
Teacher salaries
Water bill
The enormous electric bill
The maintenance bill/ upkeep
Will he get funding from the state ?
Serious adults pursue partnerships & cooperations, especially since he never considered building in his own city (Philadelphia) because reasons. And especially he wanted a private school “to keep the government out”. He still says August 2019 is the opening date (always next year). He never planned on opening a school.
/threadTariq puts out actual, tangible products and services that people can buy. He follows through on his promises to his supporters. Umar is a certifiable scam artist who hasn’t delivered on anything and gets angry and threatens to be violent when people seek accounting of the money they donated. How are they comparable again?
Whether or not Tariq is living off donations, he's putting in work. Albums , documentaries, books, etc. don't make themselves. If people rocked with me enough to donate I'd just be grateful.
I was dragged to an Umar lecture by a friend back in May. The herd was definitely thin compared to his past few lectures that I attended. It got to his ego because he mentioned that people were out celebrating Mother's Day so attendance was lower.
During the lecture, he had the audacity to take suggestions on the school location/site from the crowd. People were offering suggestions like DC, Hagerstown, Philly, and other places I can't recall. He had an excuse for each one mainly that the Black population is too low or renovation costs too high.
Afterwards, me and my friend were headed to dinner and I overheard a man saying "Umar ain't building that damn school". Me and my friend laughed so much. DC has a few small, private Black schools but for some reason Umar wants to come out the gate with a big idea instead of starting out small like the ones here. He doesn't have that kind of money or resources.

It's all or none for me. Nobody is perfect, but I'm not going to look for racial commentary on a dude who makes money off calling another black man "Crispy" or a dude who wants to start a school who makes videos threatening violence against other black men. If that's where one's head is I don't reallt want to hear what they have to sayWho Umar? Tariq? Go along with what? Who is being wrong in your scenario? Speaking in vague cliches. But let me say this if people want to bring up Umar's child support, or Tariq's Macking/Pimp persona days then so be it, idrc unless it's something actually nefarious.
And as far as Umar's himself along with his pathology I never fully agreed or actually believed in his project as being a way to unite all the people who are labeled black in the white man's color coding system of humanity. Hopefully he's able to do what he set out to do but a lot of us have nothing in common and prior to colonization I don't ever think we all were under one banner identically getting along outside of having so-called black international allies and doing trade and business with one another I never subscribed to his Afrocentric romanticisms or seen him as a leader.
I like his commentary and breakdowns on various Subjects same for Tariq that's where it begins and end for me.

And apparently, Claud Anderson is in trouble with a black-owned bank he loaned 700k from a project that failed and tried to avoid paying them back it's currently in court now. But I don't think this discredits all of his information. Same mentality, in general, take the information that is useful and resourceful and K.I.M.

One school was build for ALL races while one is trying to get built for ONLY black....huge difference

Every public school I went to in Detroit were 96-99% black. What’s the demographics in the area that ‘I promise’ is located? Stop it. You can have a black centered school (many exist) but it’s against the law to even have a black only school. Umar’s remarks against gay teachers will prevent him from every opening a school in his life anyway, and he knows that.
All them nikkas are shady in their own unique way, which is a large part of why they get questioned so much.
Umar is a goofy moron, who doesn’t have any semblance of professionalism, yet he literally pads his entire being around his PhD and some vague facsimile of education experience, wouldn’t trust him to be the principal of a daycare, let alone an experimental school for at-risk Black youth, Tariq is an equally immature moron and charlatan, who at least gives us legitimate content, even if it’s partly ahistorical or o little use, Jay Morrison just seems like a caricature, with present claims of success impossible to verify and a persona that seems at odds with what he’s trying to sell, I’d trust Robert F. Smith or Eddie Brown over him anyday as they’ve both got a proven track record.
