Timed exclusive means it would drop on other systems too . Unless you count steam decks as "consoles".

They wont admit it but just like how yall believed it was just 4 games going multiplatform, all these guys believed it was just Horizon Zero Dawn going to PC.

Now exclusivity means single player only and only 1 year before PC.

They do absolutely nothing for the consumer at all besides virtual bragging rights in console wars.

Exclusive just puts up a potential barrier in the way of a game you may want to play. For the most part the market doesn't really want them. You see it with Xbox games like Forza topping PlayStation charts. People not trying to buy 3 platforms to play all these games. They'll forgo them if not available on their platform of choice but give them access to those games on that platform and suddenly they're buying them left and right.

Sales and layoffs do affect a consumer though literally. If a game I like commercially flops, it gets less likely to be a sequel. Imagine those who liked Concord, that shyt is dead.
