Thibs defensen is some hybrid strong side zone. It basically shuts down an entire side of the court but can easily shift and shut down the other side.
Patrick Beverly gets away with hand checking, I can't think of another player in the league that does
Ron Ron. But I think mostly becuz he has the reputation of being a great defender
If he brings back hand checking, so many players would become irrelevant. It would be the first step towards the death of the league.
You will start seeing more ISO again and players who can dribble become dominant again.

They had more fundamental players back then. Could you imagine curry being handchecked? He wouldn't pass the half court line. There are numerous guards, and forwards that would fold like no other.
I remember the 1999 lockout season and the average scoring offense league wide was like 93 PPG
