Desantis is a republican puppet.....they know he will do and say whatever they tell him, which is why they want him to be their nominee for 2024. Not Trump. Trump is a loose canon who is unpredictable.....one day he might win the election for the republicans and the next his rabid followers might kill them because they went against one of his ideas.

No one like Desantis, even his own constituents and party. He’s not likable, has no clout, and has nothing for people to latch on to. Basically the opposite of Trump.

Majority of people thought Trump wouldn't be the republican nominee in 2016 but he did. Most people thought Hillary would destroy Trump in the general election in 2016 but Trump won. With covid and racial tensions at an extreme high in 2020, Trump should have lost badly but he still had a large chunk of the country that supported him and still support him two years later. Never underestimate the stupidity of the American people.
