Nintendo is going to do whatever the fukk they want, just like they always have. They arent in competition with anyone. They exist in their own world.

Kind of hard to argue against a company thats existed for over a 100 years.

People have typing up doomsday scenarios for them for like 20 years now.

They need to partner with valve... nintendos inovation with valves platform for delivering content would be amazing... nintendos first party with steams modding community and online interface on source engine 2..... if 3rd parties dont want to jump on board that leaves plenty of room for indies to flourish..... portable half life, left for dead, portal on a nintendo handheld :ohhh:

There is no way Nintendo can count on ahandheld gaming system to print money for them like the gameboys, Ds and 3ds did?

Kids are playing with tablets at 2 years old by the time they are really ready to game they will be wanting to play real home consoles

Does Nintendo have any choice but to go all out and make the best system they can or is the reality that they just can't compete?

So its not true? Nintendo hurting for money?

Never was true. You can't go by stock to determine how much a company would sell for. Sony's revenue alone dwarfs Nintendo's. Plus also all their assets and debts would have to be payed for too. Nintendo's pockets aren't that long or they would of dropped the price of the Wii U and 3ds along time ago. But there pockets aren't fat enough to eat that cost. 3DS and Wii U sales are dropping every year and they were losing money until they figured out how to maximize the exploitation of their stanbase by releasing Amiibos.:mjlol:

:mjcry:the day mario is on a sony console
I don't think Nintendo will sell, they will most likely go 3rd party like Sega did.

Only Nintendo will actually make great games on consoles. Sega seems to only care about releasing quality RTS on the PC these days.

Nintendo has Pokémon, as long as those games appear on their portables, they don't have shyt to worry about cause that fan base will buy their handhelds in doves. Not to mention they even have the Pokémon replacement Yokai Watch as an exclusive so if/when Pokémon falls off they already have the back up plan.

Plus they're already working on mobile games themselves with their partnership with DeNA, so maybe now they'll actually be some GOOD mobile games coming out for once.

People were chalking up Ls before the 3DS dropped too...

Long ago, people were so sure that the PSP would destroy the DS and look what happened.

Those same people swore that the Vita would throw the 3DS in the bushes and now Sony themselves barely even acknowledges the Vita's existence.
