Yes, Sharpton is a complicated figure, who is somewhat limited in his abilities and he has been his own worst enemy times, but this is just another annoying coli keyboard militant thread with little substance as usual.
You have to respect Sharpton for the work he put in during the late 80s in NY ethnic enclaves like Howard Beach, which were almost as anti-black and hostile as segregated cities in the south decades prior. He put his life on the line for black advancement, as he was stabbed and almost killed by a racist as a direct result in his work in raising awareness for brothas and sistas in the struggle.
The ultimate problem with all this is how are you going to dog someone who has made considerable effort over the years? Last I checked Sharpton wasnt some ruling black emperor. There has been more than enough space for any other black person to step in and assist Sharpton on these issues --- but why do that, when you can just throw shade at the man from the sidelines and tell everyone how much better of a job YOU could do?

I might be wrong but my problem with Sharpton is that it seems like he only comes around when the cameras are around. I respect what he's done for the community however

That nikka is a govt operative who the white media calls a Black leader and he is also a run of the mill scam artist. Sharpton goes on tv ranting about some shyt like pay day and predatory loans in the Black community and the parent company of one of those pay day loan places will cut him a check or buy him a new Lexus or some shyt to make him shut up. Simple as that. He may not do it anymore cuz he probably eating off that TV gig he got, but that was that nikkas main hustle.
