Hes not a genius on d at all, like most "defensive minded coaches" all they really do is slow the pace of the game down so the scores are lower so then they can put on their resume how their a defensive guru and know they can get a few more jobs

lol...I was just trying to give the man some kinda credit

Kyrie needs to sign that one year tender and become an UFA in a couple years. Never understood why some of these guys who really want to leave their teams don't do that.

Still gonna get a long term deal.

True but players want money now. No agent or family member is going to tell a young guy to wait to get paid, tomorrow is not guaranteed. Remember, they are easily influenced and most of these young guys care deeply about their image and don't want to be perceived as a quitter.

Yeah, but I don't feel bad for these guys when they actually want to leave, like Eric Gordon, and sign tenders with other teams, knowing they're gonna get matched. Sign the one year offer, stay healthy and produce and you'll get a long-term deal with a different team. Not that many guys end up like Bynum.

at the end of the day brehs, I forgot which HOF said it but they said that their first contract is all about padding stats and making money, the 2nd contract is about winning games. that's how players look at it, they want to lead a franchise by themselves and be the stars and then they can pursue winning at 27-28.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are dealing with a three-game losing streak, and perhaps some chemistry problems within the locker room.

The Cavaliers held a players-only meeting following Wednesday's 29-point loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, multiple sources told ESPN.com. But the meeting got contentious, and players confronted each other, according to sources.

The Cavs lost Friday, 86-80, to the Charlotte Bobcats after squandering a 12-point second-half lead.

Cleveland, which has lost five of six games since starting the season 2-2, plays Saturday against the Washington Wizards.

In a loss at the Chicago Bulls on Monday, Cavs coach Mike Brown and star guard Kyrie Irving got into an exchange on the bench after Brown pulled Irving from the game.

The Cavaliers also have been making lineup changes recently, as several players' roles have been changing.

Irving is struggling, shooting just 38 percent from the field and 32 percent from 3-point range. He was just 5-of-16 shooting in the loss to the Bobcats.

Irving, who is averaging a team-leading 19.3 points and 7.2 assists, took to Twitter after Friday's loss.

Cleveland could receive a boost Saturday from center Andrew Bynum, who is expected to return to the lineup after missing two games because of personal family reasons.

:scusthov: @ Brown

And Chris Grant should be fired by the end of this season, he's done an absolutely awful job drafting.

Confrontation between Cavs players reported by ESPN involved Dion Waiters, source says. Waiters sat out last night, didn't travel today.

@KingpinOG :mjpls: Drummond and Waiters average nearly the same ppg, except big Drum is shooting almost 30% higher :mjpls: Still think Waiters is better?

Chris Grant is really horrible at his job.

Let's just look at two of the worst moves in the NBA offseason

- Drafting Anthony Bennett. Draft a player that has sleep apnea, asthma, weight issues and didn't workout for you brehs.

- Signing Jarrett Jack to 4 years, 25 million: Sign an undersized SG despite drafting an undersized SG the year prior while also having an undersized PG who plays like a SG.

He's one of those "Im so smart" GMs that tries to pull rabbits out of his hat, neither Bennett or Waiters worked out for the Cavs :russ:

Apparently the rift was between Kyrie, Jack, and Dion.

Dion missed the game last night with "flu-like" symptoms.

You see Drummond last night, 15pts, 18rebs and he was upset cause he wasn't outplaying Cousins in the first half (Also got under Hibberts skin when they played). He got that passion and wants to be the best big in the league, the Cavs sure could use something like that instead of a shot jacking SG that wants Kyrie's spot :mjpls:

Where exactly have I stated that Waiters was the better option at that pick or would be the better player?

My issue with the roster has never been that. So I don't know why you're quoting me here.
