Let me ask you this. Is Foxcacher a comedic role?

No, not at all. Not even a little bit. It's a straight up drama, and Carell received a ton of praise for his acting. His Academy Award nom was like 2 weeks ago, too.

Therein lies the dilemma.

It would be like claiming Heath Ledger would always be known as "that gay cowboy" two weeks after "The Dark Knight" dropped.

He did the movie with Channing Tatum

So it's not comedic this time & he didn't in Little Miss Sunshine either.

Sheeeeeit... Foxcatcher is a major breakthrough for dude. He can head down any movie or tv path he chooses now... Comedy or drama. Alot of big actors need to study his career and decision making if you ask me Outside of 'Date Night' this is a smart and talented dude
