Ive seen lightskin chicks get hated on FOR no reason. shyt makes no sense. An ex of mine in highschool was lightskin/mixed and she stayed gettin hated on but she was nice to everyone. And it by was the ugliest bytches usually darkskin. The cute darkskins were unbothered

Also I wanna address the fact that alot of darkskin women worship yellow dudes. Hell i got worshipped cuz im caramel complexion with curly hair and spoke a different language. Maybe if i Tyrese dark it wouls be a different story. My friend was biracial looked like Steph curry and specifically darkskin girls loved him. I heard so many jokes aimed @ my midnight brehs too. Alot of it by women too. One in particular they stay mentioning how dark he was anytime they wanted to roast him or girls would be like do u see how dark he is?

I've been saying this but online and sometimes offline nights wanna get into google debates. The truth is if your good looking no matter the complexion you going to do alright with more than enough people to not feel insecure idgaf what nobody say. The only thing I understand is kids but they'll get past it if they aren't unattractive as time goes on. People make jokes about you no matter who you are about something. No one is immune from it so just gotta improve what you can and the rest forget about it.

Colorism simply is, in basic terms " I can't get the guy I want so I'll blame my skin tone and him for not liking me ".

The difference between an ugly/average Lightskin woman and ugly/average Darkskin woman is that the lightskin woman will still have a large group of brown and dark men lusting after her "pretty hair" and lightskin. The pretty dark skin girls who do better with men are usually stunning and probably have weave and thin noses/lips. Light skin and certain features give you bonus points in the looks department for a lot of Black men while dark skin is ridiculed.

For example, Lupita is way more attractive than Kehlani but which one do you think most Black dudes want?

The Lupita thing is subjective. I know cats that are on both sides but in fairness why not put both women up with professional shots up? Also just because someone take one light skin person over a dark skin person isn't a referendum on if they are on some colorism stuff or not. Nobody does it the opposite way so for me if its not going to be done both ways you gotta get that stuff out of here. Like OP said when it comes to dating its multiple reasons why you aren't getting choose for cats to that do the color thing as the main reason that's a copout to me.
