To be honest, I would rather hear one from Rakim and Madlib today.
I love Kane, and he's one of my GOAT's, and he can still rap. But he's stuck in the same pattern and cadence that he's been using for 25+ years. No matter the beat, same exact flow, lol. Rakim just dropped some new sh*t, and somehow, still sounds fresh. Kane kinda lost his cool forever ago. That's my dude, but I think it's over for him.

I don't think Madlib's style fits rappers like Kane, Rakim, etc. To me if I had to pick one producer who would fit that vibe perfectly it's Damu The Fudgemunk.
