HAHAHA!

I hate clowning legends, but Kane lost his damn mind. He deserves it, lol.

Seriously one of the weirdest fall-off's in Hip Hop history.

Lmao!!!!

Yeah it’s hard when it’s your favorites who fall off

Which reminds me, I see our boy Redman still promoting Muddy Waters Too and dropping a video for Hood Star tonight at 9PM

I went back and listened to the song again and was like “this ain’t the Redman I know” :pachaha:

True. He's been busy.

Still working that weak album. LOL!!

Redman animated series or some sh*t and comic books, etc, lol. I gave up, bro. That whole classic run we always talk about is over and is never coming back.

I could hear him rhyming over a beat like this :wow:

Definitely. Rakim, Kane etc rap to the drums. You pretty much know exactly what they're going to sound like over a break beat or Impeach The President or whatever else. Nas is the same way - give him up tempo drums and he's gonna rhyme a certain way, give him slow ass drums and you get...Blunt Ashes. Madlib's drums are so inconsistent that I don't see it working. I don't mean inconsistent as in bad, just that sometimes it's drumless or he's looping something with really minor drums, or sometimes he's doing his own snares, or sometimes it's some wild Brazilian shyt that doesn't fit any rapper. And you're rarely gonna see him dust off a break beat.

Statik would be perfect for Rakim or Kane too. 9th could work, especially after he switched his drums up a few years ago when he was working with Black Thought.

Yup, the minute I hit play I was like “I hear it!”

Yeah I know what you mean, Madlib is sort of all over the place with his drums at times and sometimes his beats are just best as instrumentals and not really meant to be rhymed over

Kane actually needs an unknown young producer who can chop but has a grasp of their oen sonic landscapery to style for kane.
A mix of blackula to new but retro flair. As well as reel kane in.
when kane wants to go to pop wack quincy jones back on the block commercial.
