So I'm in the whip with amazon prime music on shuffle...Say Hello comes on & it hits me that Puff gave Hov all of this crazy production for American Gangster. I think Puff even got an Associate Producer credit for the album. And then it hit me Puff was sitting on all this fire for years & years. Made me wonder, what if Biggie had spit over these same beats. These are the beats that Puff gave Jay for AG:

American Dreamin'
No Hook
Roc Boys
Sweet
Party Life

I can see Big crafting a masterpiece w/ these same beats. Would BIG outshine Hov on these same beats & hooks?

I'm not surprised those beats were for Big. The production job by the Hitmen on Life After Death is next level. Joints like What's Beef, You're Nobody, etc....still sound fresh af. You can't tell they were made in 96'.

EDIT: The more I think about it...the Hitmen's production aged great. Can anyone really tell that Victory or Jay-Z Where Im From are damn near 20 years old. Them dudes might be the GOATS lowkey

Skills wise Biggie was nice enough that he would definitely still be relevant today if he were still alive. easy.

That said I wonder if he'd be beefing with Nas, Rae, and ghost with all the subliminals they were tossing at each other.
