Clap-happy Christian was meh.... :beli:

...though, to be honest, I was never really moved by him as a singles competitor so I'm probably biased. I think I missed a lot of the great solo things that warmed people up to him.

I put him in the same category I put post-Eddy Chavo in: "tribute character."

He was pretty much the IWC flavor of the month guy back in 04-05. He had all the makings of an IWC favorite; good matches, witty promos, and the fans thought he was being mistreated. Don't get me wrong he was good, but I don't think he was ever as good as people made him out to be.

Edge would have been one of the few who could go toe to toe with Punk or HHH on the mic during the last few years.

Could've done some good shyt with the Shield and helped put them over even more. Maybe a major feud with Punk.

Not happy he had to leave because of injury, but really, he left at a good time. What else was left for him to do?

Best thing about edge was his theme and his returns after injury. Aside from hardy I can't count too many people he put over when he was on top.

I wouldn't mind. I stopped watching before his singles run really took off. From the bits and pieces that I have see, I really liked his theme and persona.

If Edge doesn't retire, Punk, Bryan and a few more of our faves don't eat. It was unfortunate that he went out like that, but when he left and dropped the strap it opened the flood gates for the guys who was destined to be held in the midcard

Uncertain grounds
depends on how he'd be booked. he'd obviously be an asset but if it resulted in keeping some people back who ended up breaking through as faces then its probably better off as is. i suppose him as a part timer would be good though

Didnt punk say that without Edge some of the corporates wouldnt have believed in him. He gets a lot of flack for being protected but he earned his stripes in the hardest way......Being in spectacle gimmick matches killing himself. When called on to actually Wrestle he shined, when called to talk he shined. Injurys slowed him down considerably and cut him short but he would be able to teach a young guy alot about seizing the opportunity. The fueds would have been gold Wyatt, Any and all members of the sheild, Heyman and any of his cohorts, Edge vs the Authority could have been amazing( I get the feeling there is some understated tension in hunter and edge). Utimately tho he would and should be putting someone over, or at least taking the training wheels off someone with momentum and ME potential.
