Eminem Show? You can't be serious. Eminem still only had two good albums, the first two.

He would have never dropped 8 mile or eventually relapse, which would be a bad thing IMO. And to be honest I don't really give nikkas credit for tapping out early to some how artificially preserve some kind of consistency by default. Him dropping encore and the hiatus weren't the highlights of his career but I respect him expressing where he was at in those moments more than I would him stepping away to try and walk away a paper champ.

Not that Andre is doing that on purpose...but let's say during this supposed "GOAT" run that he had where everybody and their mama start putting him in top 5 he just decided to officially retire...would that give his legacy a boost? Or would it have the same effect as him just kinda disappearing like he already has?

As a fan, i'd much rather watch you work through your artistic struggles than have you give up, or take the safe route and try to "go out on top".

:myman: and people try to act like Relapse wasn't one of the most lyrical albums to drop in the past 10 years....ppl were talkin "bring back slim shady" and that's exactly what he did, he relapsed to his old style, on crack if u ask me, and gave us a raw ass album of slim shady rhymes...if u didn't fukk w that album u weren't a fan from the jump, bcuz that's what his whole style was when he first came on....but ppl still hated and thus we got "Recovery"...a good album as well, but it was him trying to reclaim commercial acceptance and started going in this really corny, super serious "i battled with my demons and came out on top" shyt ....screaming everything, doing records with bruno mars....i hope he deads that shyt on his next album, but i'm not so sure....since recovery was so fukkin successful he might just stick with that formula....i got faith in dre and rick rubin tho, so i'm cautiously excited
