i felt Fox's X-Men universe had as many highs as Disney's Marvel films. However, Marvel nailed down the formula in making enjoyable films to watch in theatres, and having everything connected made the c-tier films more forgiving.

Fox was not that bad they had some of the highest highs when it comes to comic book movies. Also w/o X1/X2 the MCU wouldn’t be around today.

But if Fox hypothetically bought Marvel Feige would still be around as it would’ve be in 2009 after Ironmans success and X-men the Last Stand/Wolverine Origins critical disappointments. It honestly could’ve worked out well Feige could’ve fast tracked X-men and Avengers crossing over a lot sooner.

The original X-MEN was saved by the casting and the time period it came out in.

Movie quality wise the only good ones were First Class, Days of Future Past and Logan.

X-2 was alright but I never thought it was this classic

The rest were trash including those Deadpool joints (Reynolds was better and actually funny in Wolverine origins).
