They'd have the same amount of titles during the time span that Kidd was playing after the 03 season. They'd still probably defeat the Pistons and would still have defeated the Cavs in 2007.

Kidd vs Nash in 05 and 07 in that fast break series would have been :noah:

Spurs would've won 5 straight titles Kidd came over. SA definitely gets the 2 they missed out on in 04 and 06.

All in all though knowing what I know now i'd probably stick with TP and not make that trade. Kidd was done by 2012, Tony still got a few good years left.

A Kidd/Ginobili backcourt though :lupe:

I think San Antonio would still have their 5 championships. But the Nets would be in better shape then They're right now. Parker is a way better scorer then people want to believe. He would easily average 23-24 ppg, while still dishing out 8 assist. To be honest the NBA western conference would look completely different because of this trade.

I don't think the Spurs would have won as much.

I think Tony Parker is a much better overall player. Shoots better, penetrates better...has the ability to take over games better than Jason Kidd ....which Parker did very well at times when Manu and Duncan got a little cold.
