What if Jason Kidd was the franchise PG for the Spurs and not tony Parker?

Highly disagree with this.
When great players talk about the best pg's of all time, Kidd is mentioned. Parker isn't.
That said I think they would have won as much if not more.

There is no question in my mind that of all the hypothetical combinations, Bean and Duncan intrigues me the most. Their games mesh so well together. I see 7-8 rings if they played together from 2000-2015.

Jason Kidd is a prototypical point guard.
He's a pass-first guy.
But Kidd is an offensive zero and was for most of his career.
You can't get past the fact that Parker shoots about 50% for his career while Kidd shot 40%.
This is a forum where we wanna act like Duncan only wins because of Parker and Manu....but now we got a thread where Parker only wins because of Manu and Duncan
Name an area where Kidd was better than Parker except for assists.

Assist mean nothing , believe it or not Kidd was a better three point shooter, much better defender I mean GOAT level PG defense & his offense wasn't to far from Parkers

I don't think he would have lasted because Kidd has a bit of an ego. He and Pop would have came to blows after a few seasons.
