Why would San Antonio settle for Kevin Love and his $25 Million price when they have Aldridge/Gasol and an 8th pick in the Draft when they can Get Jaylen Brown who happen to play the same position as Leonard, probably Terry Rozier/Marcus Morris, also can get the Kings first rounder next year which will better than the 8th pick the Cavs can offer.

They absolutely wouldnt take Clevelands offer over those. I was going off the premise of the OP that the trade was already done. I would assume all of those pieces were gone.

If i was a Cavs fan, I wouldn't be mad at LeBron for leaving. That team needs to be Gutted, Total Rebuild in full force.
