What if life is pointless?

Would you enjoy it any less? People talk like earth is center of the universe, created specifically for humans like none of the other infinite amount of planets could have "perfect" conditions for life. Not only is that unlikely but lets discuss the conditions; Fact is the Earth is extremely hostile to human life. (stole that quote from the other thread) 71% of this planet is ocean... that means only 29% of the surface is land and that number gets knocked down to 7% to 11% if we're talking about land that is safe for humans to inhabit. 11% at best and shrinking!!...feeling small yet? Good.

We're just visitors here and seemingly the only "advanced" species on this planet that has to pay to live somewhat comfortably here So with that said...enjoy your life, for every heaven there is 1,000 other hells you have a chance to go to. Everything you know and love have came from this insignificant piece of land mass on this pale blue dot floating in a sea of infinity... Your problems will be soon forgotten. Just let it go.

Could you imagine a 1200 page book explaining complexity of a infinite universe. It doesn't even come close.

Everything you know and love in this plane of existence you must let go of at some point.

That being said, what if each being is, to put it in simple terms, gathering experiences to help the universe have a better understanding of it's own self? Seems like that's a great reason to live and expand your "personal" horizons.

Maybe....what if we're just atoms that make up the collective consciousness of another living being? who knows...our problems here are so small in the grand scheme of things. Hell humans just got here in the last minute, of the last hour, of the last day of the cosmic calendar...we're basically babies in this universe... wth do we know?

I've had that thought also. We're all just different perspectives of self...

We're all the result of the "winning sperm." That was a war in itself, for all we know we could be a parasite colony on the back of a giant's ass. The mysteries of life.

only more reason to live this existence to the fullest...we could very well return back to our original forms never to exist ever again. And who's to say this is even a advanced life form. Im excited to see whats next...but i'm also just as excited to be apart of this.
