What if life is pointless?

You said we don't know much about the Universe, and if we don't know much about the Universe wouldn't that also indicate that you have no idea whether life is pointless or not?

does it really matter what i think? Im just making conversation....also this thread has a general theme, not everyone will catch on.

If people can not come to a conclusion of a definitive point of what we perceive as life, they may come to the conclusion themselves that it has none.

Would you enjoy it any less? People talk like earth is center of the universe, created specifically for humans like none of the other infinite amount of planets could have "perfect" conditions for life. Not only is that unlikely but lets discuss the conditions; Fact is the Earth is extremely hostile to human life. (stole that quote from the other thread) 71% of this planet is ocean... that means only 29% of the surface is land and that number gets knocked down to 7% to 11% if we're talking about land that is safe for humans to inhabit. 11% at best and shrinking!!...feeling small yet? Good.

We're just visitors here and seemingly the only "advanced" species on this planet that has to pay to live somewhat comfortably here So with that said...enjoy your life, for every heaven there is 1,000 other hells you have a chance to go to. Everything you know and love have came from this insignificant piece of land mass on this pale blue dot floating in a sea of infinity... Your problems will be soon forgotten. Just let it go.

Could you imagine a 1200 page book explaining complexity of a infinite universe. It doesn't even come close.

Are you saying now it's rational to be "psychopathic" given the circumstance that none of us have a definitive answer and some may believe their is actually no purpose?
