Imo there gonna need at least 2 good games back to back b4 they could lure a 2k loyalist like myself away. I played Live on PS4 and it is a ways away from competing with 2k14....they are not gonna be able to do that in one year. Also a lot of ppl behind Live have migrated over to 2k....EA just doesn't have the man power to compete with 2k in the foreseeable future. Maybe Live 17 might have a chance

for me tho, if Live ends up getting good reviews and actually PLAYS better, i'd buy it. Its not like 2k is playable online anyways.....they refuse to fix glaring server issues year after year. the park was poorly implemented as well.

@sifon you're absolutely correct about EA being garbage, everyone knows it, but its not like they dont make good games every once in a while (even a broken clock is right twice a day )

If Live 15 is better than 2k15. That means 2k had a epic CPU malfunction to the point they could fix the problem with a patch. And the take 2 & the investors just said put it out no matter what.

I try not to be a 2k apologist but yall really do exaggerate alot of the issues with 2k. Yes the net code for online play needs some work but yall act like it's impossible to play a game online in 2k. The game play has problems at times but there are also times when 2k14 plays beautifully. The template is there, 2k just needs to iron out some issues......EA doesn't even have a template right now yet u think they could honestly put out a better overall product than 2k in one year.... not happening buddy

Once Live has decent gameplay that can compete with NBA2k, they should pull the NFL2k5 move and sell it for like $20 just to get publicity and force NBA2k's hands to either compete on price or have some value gamers jump to Live.

Although, the NFL 2k5 move did cause EA to outright buy the NFL license ... so there is that downside that 2k/Take Two might try that power play ...

100,000 units @ $60 or 300,000 units @ $20 is the same cash take-in, except you get new users @ the $20 pricepoint and a news cycle saying "EA selling Live for only $20!"

With that being said, I would only say Live should do this when the gameplay is legit. If they do this with a trash game, people will just be like "now I know why this shyt is only $20"

When 2K did this they clearly had a good product and were coming off a down year. Live hasn't had a good two years for over a decade.
