What if Scorsese would've directed Black Mass?

Yeah? Johnny was actually the highlight of the movie. He did a great job and had the best role in a movie he's had in years (not counting Jack Sparrow).

He wasn't the problem.

the acting was on point, the makeup was distracting as fukk. ... at least for me it was. at no point did i believe i was watching Whitey Bulger, it was just Johnny Deep in makeup. it was also a really unfulfilling movie for some reason. every now and then i watch a movie that feels like nothing big happens and it just ends. i don't remember much from Black Mass, it just kinda came and went... so in that regard, i bet Scorsese would have improved it.
