Shaq is 7'1 thats still a pretty big difference

....yeah, but we talmbout a 7'1" dude who can bust a windmill at random. :heh:

Shaq's athleticism was off the charts in his prime, I'm not about to believe that Shaq isn't AS athletic as Too Tall Jones, and am actually inclined to believe he's MORE athletic. :manny:

Ole Miss Rebel Terrell Brown: A Gentle Giant Hoping for a Shot in the NFL | Bleacher Report

At 6'10'' and 388 lbs., Ole Miss Rebel OL Terrell Brown is a true man among men.

With his height and weight, Brown is bigger than the majority of linemen in NFL history.

Prior to arriving at Ole Miss, Brown attended Mississippi Delta Community College, where he redshirted his freshman season and was held out with injuries as a sophomore. In 2010, the Drew, MS native was a walk-on for then-Rebel coach Houston Nutt. Over the past two seasons, Brown has seen action in only two games at Ole Miss.

The Rebel's biggest asset in football also happens to be his biggest hindrance: his sheer size.

The gentle giant's enormous stature actually hurts his ability to physically get up and down on the line of scrimmage on a consistent basis. While it sounds like cruel irony, it's just the unfortunate truth. Nevertheless, Brown has remained faithful to his passion for the game of football.

Like any graduating college football player, the young man would just like a chance in the NFL. Along those lines, he recently participated in Ole Miss' pro day.

Brown's taken a different path than most in his football life, but he's remained loyal to his passion. If given a chance with the right team and coaching staff, you just never know what could happen. Who's to say the big fella couldn't come in on a short-and-goal situation to either block or punch one into the end zone himself?

While it's highly unlikely the Ole Miss Rebel will actually be drafted, it's a safe bet he gets a chance as a free agent somewhere.

Last week, Pro Football Talk's Michael David Smith wrote, "Brown’s size is jaw-dropping...It wouldn’t be at all surprising to see some team give Brown a shot as an undrafted free agent. And if Brown does make it, he’ll be the biggest player in the NFL."

Here's to hoping the humble young man gets the right shot with the right team.

I think Shaq could perform on a football field with practice just because he was a hell of an athlete. But it's a reason why we don't see 7'0 people in the NFL. I guess they would be too big of a target and most tall guys would rather get paid to bounce a basketball instead of getting in collisions everyday for their money. It takes a special kind of person mentally to play football for a living.

nobody asked what position he'd be playing.

A 7'1 300lb quarter back would beast in the NFL.

Field Vision>>>>>>>

Doesn't need to scramble because that stiff arm and size would help him deflect enough tackles to get that pass off.

if you look at the majority of the NBA players who are 7 ft + or near 7 ft... they're like 200-260 lbs... that's a damn near twig.

Austin Daye is 6'11".. 200 lbs.

it's quite rare for people that tall, to actually be large.... being 7 ft tall and 300+.. you'd be better off as a pro wrestler.

imagine Big Show as a Left Tackle tho :ohhh:
