-Testing different growth conditions where you can grow the virus in order to do labs with it
-doing quality control
-doing months long clinical studies on animals
-doing months long clinical trials on humans

I got the flu around two weeks before the coronavirus made the news. Thought I was gonna die and when I started recovering I had a wheeze that wouldn't go away for days.
