I'd probably be sold as a fancy girl for 1500 dollars in New Orleans.
Not good at all.
I wouldn't even have my free papers with me.

Woman, you're literate. Write your own! Matter of fact, make a stack by writing freedom papers for everybody else. So fresh, so clean. They ain't gonna know what hit em when you drop in.

Id probably end up getting killed. It would be incredibly difficult to pretend like you weren't educated. And it would be incredibly difficult letting some racist white call you boy, talk down to you and slap you around
.

Like another poster said, I'd be trying my damnest to get to Canada. Mary Ann Shadd and her husband come to mind. I'd be chilling in Ontario eating canadian bacon :win:

I'd be mad as hell b/c I wouldn't be able to charge my cell phone.
Solar charger cell phone case or usb.

There are no satellites in the year 1821, so you can't use the cell phone anyway -- to make calls. You can record audio and video, though, make notes, play the games and music and non-internet/call related apps you downloaded before. Just no way to save any of that stuff unless you brought a lot of microSD disks. That would be a intense game in itself: what do you keep and what do you delete when you're filling up memory in 1821? How do you make sure no one steals it from you? What happens if it breaks? or your touchscreen goes out?

In the Potomac. I'd rather die.

Maybe, but the survival instinct in humans is strong. You're nicknamed 'TheStripper'. The Stripper is skilled in sizing up people, potential revenue, and marks versus players. If you survived the shock of the first day, your theme song would be 'Strut'.

You're right. I'd try to live. Better drop me in the middle of the Pacific just to be safe.
